.ROLE REVERSALS.

My heart was inclined to put these feelings on paper, because no one ever tells us nor do they prepare us for role reversals.

You know when the child becomes the parent; not to their own offspring, but they are now responsible for caring for their own parent. The same person or persons who cared for you up until the point where you now have to take care of them.

Or when Daddy can’t deal with his responsibilities, so he leaves them to Mommy; and Mommy is now Mommy and Daddy.

Or when a Man doesn’t know how to be a Man, so he forces his WOMAN to be a Man, and then gets mad that she is doing a better job. So now he must demean her, put her down, and abuse her.

What about this supernatural role you have to take on to deal with the fact that you have to lose someone before they actually leave?

There is no manual.

There are no rules.

There is no guide.

It’s Life!

So to those, whom life has forced into a role that seems almost impossible to walk in …
